The fifth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show will be held July 27 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township.

Registration is 9 a.m.-noon. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 preregistered cars. Awards will be presented 3 p.m.

All makes, models and years of cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors are welcome. The event will also include door prizes, a tricky tray, food, a deejay, craft show and flea market. All proceeds benefit NASD Student Council.

Reminder: Allen Township Fire Department will hold its annual indoor/outdoor yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. July 27 on the station grounds, 3530 Howertown Road.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Seemsville, 8142 Valley View Road, will hold a chicken barbecue dinner Aug. 3.

Seatings are 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Meals can be eaten there or taken out.

The dinner includes half of a chicken, potato, pickled cabbage, roll and butter and a homemade dessert.
