Governor Wolf Historical Society’s 38th annual Christmas house tour will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 1.
This year’s theme is “Keep a Candle in the Window.”
Ten area historic homes and other structures will be decorated for the holidays.
The historical society’s annual Holiday History Family Day will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. that day at the GWHS campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road.
Highlights of the day include a 1700s and 1800s antique lighting exhibit and Colonial craftsmen demonstration, kids’ activities, hearth cooking and Civil War re-enactors. Crafts, fresh wreaths and swags will be available for purchase.
The Daily Grind Cafe will serve brunch and lunch.
