September is Library Card Sign Up Month!

Sign up for a card in the month of September and be entered to win a $15 Amazon gift card. Get a card and utilize all the great services at Northampton Area Public Library.

The Teen Task Force will meet 3 p.m. Sept. 12. Work with other teens on a library project while earning community service credit.

The first project is the Jack Frost Parade float.

Registration for fall children’s programs begins Sept. 17. Programs are for ages 10 months until fifth grade.

There will be an Oreo taste testing for teens 3 p.m. Sept. 19. Teens in grades 6-12 can taste, guess and rate several different Oreo cookie flavors.

Registration is required.

The yard sale organized by the Friends of Northampton Area Public Library is set for 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 22. Spaces are still available to rent.

Donations may be dropped off at the library.

The autumn basket social will be 6 p.m. Oct. 5. The ticket presale began Sept. 4.

The library is currently accepting new or collectible items.
