The Parkland wrestling team won a pair of Eastern Pennsylvania Conference dual meets last week to improve to 3-0 this season.

The Trojans took down Central Catholic last Wednesday, 62-15. They won five matches by forfeit and took six of the eight contested bouts.

Parkland’s Adam Lizak (182), David Plananki (195), Nate Wieder (220) and Jahan Worth (285) got their team’s only pins in the contest, reeling off four straight in the upperweights.

The Trojans beat Freedom last week, 50-19.

Nick Dolak (132), Joey Guida (170), Polanki (195) and Wieder pinned their Patriot opponents in the match.

Parkland will compete in the Christmas City Tournament at Liberty High School Thursday and Friday to close out the year. They will open 2018 with home match against East Stroudsburg South on Thursday, Jan. 4.
