The East Allen Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser Tuesday, June 22, 5-10 p.m., at the Blue Monkey, 1092-94 Howertown Road, North Catasauqua.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, is holding Vacation Bible School June 22-26, 9 a.m.-noon, for children age 3 through sixth grade.

This year's theme is "Catch the Buzz!" and is part of the ELCA malaria campaign. The children will learn about malaria, how it affects children in Africa, ways we can help treat the disease and how we can help to prevent it from spreading.

There will be Bible stories, skits, songs, crafts, snacks and games.

Preregister by calling the church office at 610- 262-9517 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday or by visiting the website, www.goodshepherdlutheran@rcn.com.

Each child will need a white plain T-shirt, which will be used during craft time. You can bring one in on the first day or purchase one at the registration table for $3.

Horner's Cemetery, behind 4955 Nor-Bath Blvd., is offering guided tours every Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The oldest cemetery in Northampton County, it contains the founders of Craig's Irish Settlement, the oldest permanent village in the Lehigh Valley. Other notables: the first woman killed by Indians in the county, delegate to the Constitutional Convention and Continental Congress, surveyor for the Penn families, fort builders, founders of Bath and Northampton, a friend of George Washington and the inn keeper who helped Ben Franklin.
