The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will host this month's brunch on Sunday, Mother's Day.

Note there are two seatings: one at 9 a.m. and one at 10:30 a.m. Reservations are required.

This will be the last brunch of the season; they will resume in September.

The Catasauqua Garden Club will have its annual plant sale this Saturday at the Catasauqua Public Library beginning 9 a.m.

It will run until noon or until the plants are gone.

On Wednesday, May 13, at 7:30 p.m., the Silver Winds Flute Choir and the Thursdays Players Flute Choir from Allentown's Community Music School, under the direction of Dr. Nora Suggs, will perform in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, Second and Pine streets.

The performance is open to the public. There is no charge.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale is being held May 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at locations south of Race Street, up to and including Circle Drive.

The sale will be held rain or shine.

The fee for participation is $3 to defray the cost of the neighborhood permit. Payment can be made to Linda at 385 Faith Drive, Ronnie at 520 Circle Drive, Penny at 809 Bethlehem Road or Eugenia at 817 Bath Ave.

The fee must be paid by May 11.

The Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will have a sportsman's raffle on Friday, May 15.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The kitchen and bar will be open from 7 to 10 p.m.

Don't forget there is a cash/purse bingo on Saturday, May 16.

Doors open at noon, and 15 games of bingo begin at 1 p.m.

Join in the fun for the season's opening day at the George Taylor House, Second and Poplar streets, Saturday, May 16 from noon to 4 p.m.

Enjoy an afternoon of music (Easton High School Jazz Combo and Tavern Tan), artists, student art show, crafters, food vendors, children's activities and more.

Also, be sure to take a tour of the historical house. Complimentary tours of the house are available on most first and third Sundays of the month throughout the 2015 season or by appointment.

The grounds are available for small parties, wedding receptions and business meetings.
