Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will hold a basket raffle Friday, April 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Featured will be attractively themed baskets, gift certificates, handmade quilted wall hangings and baby quilts, as well as other unique items.
Tickets will be drawn Saturday, April 25, and winners will be notified by phone after 4 p.m.
The proceeds will go to Trinity's Project Fund and the Brett Snyder Medical Assistance Fund.
A Lehigh University Class of 2000 graduate, Brett played halfback on Lehigh's team, and he was the team captain in 1999.
A few years later, Brett was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Brett's battle with ALS has incurred many major financial debts and he now requires 24-hour care.
Brett and his wife, Carissa, have two young sons.
