Whitehall Township nonunion employees will be granted 2-percent pay increases in 2015.
Police officers, whose salaries are governed by contract, will receive a 2.66-percent increase, pending approval by the township commissioners.
Most patrol officers' pay increases from $74,381 to $76,357 annually. Longevity pay and overtime are added on top of these figures. Four officers without longevity pay will receive raises ranging from 9.42 percent to 11.47 percent, bringing their annual paychecks to $61,048 to $76,357.
The salary of police chief will increase, from $95,717 to $98,110. The three lieutenants will also see raises, bringing their salaries to $85,051. The four sergeants will receive $82,410 annually.
Public Works employees will receive a 2-percent pay hike, as per their contract, putting salaries in the $45,530 to $51,491 range.
Also, the position of fire chief and inspector will receive a 2.5-percent pay hike, from $72,398 to $74,208.
Not everyone is slated to receive a pay hike in 2015. The salary of Mayor Edward D. Hozza Jr., will remain at $85,301.
