The Old Home Week 100th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, June 29, noon to 5 p.m. in the Catasauqua Park.

The Old Home Week committee is looking for arts and craft vendors to participate in their celebration. The event will feature arts and crafts, athletic events and tournaments, various demonstrations such as karate, dance and quilting, pool amphitheater, beer garden and historical displays by the Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association, as well as food vendors from local churches and civic, social and athletic organizations and businesses. There will be family games and entertainment by local bands as well. Tennis and volleyball players are also needed for tournaments.

The Catasauqua Fire Police will hold a flea market at the fire training grounds on Race Street Saturday, May 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can rent a 10x10 space but you must provide your own tables or tent.

Food and beverage will be sold.

The Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association has announced its 2014 summer hours for the Biery House Museum and Art Gallery.

It will be open the first and third Sunday of May, June, July, August and September. The Biery House will be open for its open house from 1-4 p.m. May 18.
