Parkland High School is proud to announce the hiring of Courtney Kokolus as the new head varsity cheerleading coach for the Parkland High School cheer program, replacing Alyssa Feher who resigned.
Coach Kokolus brings many years of experience in cheerleading, coaching, leadership, and student development to the position.
She is a 2006 Parkland High School graduate who excelled in the classroom and in cheer.
Courtney has previously served as a coach in the Northampton Area School District, the Whitehall Coplay School District, Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School, Cedar Crest College, and North Parkland cheer where she helped develop successful programs focused on teamwork, school spirit, and athletic excellence.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Kokolus as our new varsity head cheerleading coach,” Athletic Director Andy Stephens said. “Her passion for student-athlete development, commitment to excellence, and positive energy make her a great fit for our school community.”
As head coach, Coach Kokolus will oversee all aspects of the cheerleading program, including sideline cheer and competition preparation.
The Trojan cheerleading program will begin preparations for the upcoming season this summer.
