Caitlin Gartner of Coplay and Jamie Klaum of Catasauqua were recently selected to participate in the 2014 Miss Teen Allentown/Harrisburg pageant competition on May 11. The girls learned of their acceptance into this year's competition when the pageant announced their selections following applicant interviews conducted by the Allentown/Harrisburg pageant coordinator.

They will be competing, at Twin Valley High School, Elverson, Berks County, for a share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts to be distributed to contestants.

Caitlin and Jamie will be competing in one of four age-group divisions for girls aged 7 to 19. They will be judged on modeling routines for casual wear and formal wear, personality and interviewing skills.

The Miss Teen Allentown/Harrisburg title winner will go to the national competition in Orlando, Fla.
