Construction by contractors replacing the west wing of the Coplay Saengerbund pavilion is nearing the finish line. The roof collapse resulted from a winter snowstorm. Damage to the pavilion, its roof and supports and chairs and tables inside was estimated in the $20,000 range. Work this week is concentrated on the electrical system and lighting. The east and central sections of the pavilion, bar and stage, were spared from damage.
