Milot named board chair in Weisenberg Township

Weisenberg Township's reorganization meeting was held Jan. 6 in the municipal building.

Robert Milot was voted in as chairman with Linda Gorgas as vice chairman.

Anthony Werley will again serve as roadmaster with James Werley named assistant roadmaster.

With the announcement that Secretary/Treasurer Donald Breininger will be retiring, it was decided to split the position.

Brian Carl will serve as secretary with Janet Henritzy named assistant secretary.

The treasurer spot will be taken by Jeffrey Strauss.

Breininger will remain as a consultant to the township.

Wages were set for all employees, including temporary help when needed.

Holidays were noted along with any other time off which might occur.

Brian Carl was appointed zoning officer with Keystone Consulting Engineers as the alternate.

Keystone was also appointed as township engineer.

Norris, McLaughlin and Marcus will serve as the township solicitor.

Driveway permits will be granted by the roadmaster.

Diane Matthews-Gehringer and Daniel Snyder were appointed to the township planning commission while Robert Elbich was appointed to the zoning hearing board.

Lori Ann Wukitsch will be the zoning board alternate.

Christopher Noll of Keystone Consulting Engineers was appointed as sewage enforcement officer for the township with Carl Wolfe, Jr and Brian Carl as alternates.

Barry Isett and Associates will handle the building inspection duties for the township.

All regular township meetings will be on the second Monday of the month with the exception of the April meeting, which will be April 7.
