The Catasauqua Halloween Parade will take place Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The parade will begin at 7 p.m. at 14th Street, continue on to Race Street and end at North Catasauqua Playground.

The Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., Catasauqua, will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., Catasauqua, will host a meatloaf dinner 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18.

The meal will consist of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables and salad along with bread or rolls and desserts.

Bingo will be held at St. Mary's Parish Center, Third and Union streets, Catasauqua, Sunday, Oct. 13, beginning at 1 p.m.

Catasauqua Main Streets will host a meet and greet with candidates running for Catasauqua Borough Council Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Catasauqua Public Library, Third and Bridge streets.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for the public to learn what the individual candidate's platforms are.

Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.
