Wilbur Haines' Molasses Corn Muffins
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup corn meal
1-1/2 cup whole bran
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs individually. Stir in molasses and milk. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in corn meal and bran. Add to creamed mixture and stir to just blended. Fill muffin cups or greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 22-24 minutes. Makes 18.
