The 2013 Hokendauqua Park & Playground - Bob Warke/Dale Horn Memorial Scholarships were recently awarded to Kelly Erie along with Connor Bydlon and Matthew Bonshak.

These two $1000 scholarships are awarded to male and female HPPA sports participants who have graduated from high school and will continue their education at a university, college or trade school.

Criteria for scholarship selection include high school academic performance, extracurricular activities and community service.

This year, the voting yielded a tie in the male division and Connor and Matt will be sharing the $1000 award. The scholarships are funded by our annual Bob Warke/Dale Horn Basketball Tournament held at the end of the basketball season and through generous donations by the Hokey Legion and friends who want to keep the spirit of Bob Warke & Dale Horn in youth sports.
