Once again, the Catasauqua Recreation Department will offer concerts and movie nights at the Catasauqua Park.

On Friday, June 7, the Riffters will perform. Bring a blanket or chairs for a fun night.

HCPA is honored to host Thomas Jones, architectural historian, who will speak on the history of the George Taylor House in Catasauqua and plans for future use of the property as an active educational site.

The program will cover information contained in a feasibility study of the George Taylor House and property written by Jones for the Borough of Catasauqua. The study documents the property, building architecture, the owners and their contributions to reginal and national history.

The free program is set for June 18 at 7 p.m. in the Catasauqua Middle School auditorium, 850 Pine St. Don't miss this fascinating local history account.

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will hold its community yard sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

It will be held in the parking lot across the street from the church in conjunction with a used book sale and bake sale.

Sellers are needed. There is a cost to rent a space.
