job with DuPont
Logan W. Keba, a 2008 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, recently graduated from Penn State University with a degree in chemical engineering.
He has accepted a position with the DuPont Company as a manufacturing technology engineer and scientist at the company's Washington Works plant in Parkersburg, W.Va.
Logan is the son of Bill and Debby Keba of Orefield. He has a sister, Marlo, who attends West Chester University and two brothers, Dalton and Bryce, who go to Northwestern Lehigh.

on dean's list
Arthur Terembula III of New Tripoli, was named to the 2012 fall semester dean's list at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass.
To be eligible a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6.

man to graduate
Michael Pany of Schnecksville, a meteorology major, is scheduled to complete his baccalaureate studies at SUNY Oswego, where he will be eligible to participate in the college's May 18 commencement.
A student who graduates with honors is indicated by the traditional Latin phrases summa cum laude, with highest honor (grade averages of 3.8 to 4.0); magna cum laude, with great honor (grade averages of 3.6 to 3.79); and cum laude, with honor (grade averages of 3.30 to 3.59).

Hannah Rucker of Allentown has been named to the spring 2013 dean's list for academic achievements and achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher at Champlain College, Burlington, Vt.
Rucker is majoring in digital filmmaking.

Kathryn Murphy of Schnecksville was named to the 2012 fall semester dean's list at Wilson College, Chambersburg.
To be eligible for dean's list, a student must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Allentown resident Joshua Fogerty recently sang in the tenor section with the Ithaca College Choir at the Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.
Home to the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has been called by Frommer's Travel Guides as "New York City's foremost institution."
Fogerty is a sophomore vocal performance major in the Ithaca College School of Music.
In addition to the choir performing Byrd's "Laudibus in sanctis" and Britten's "Hymn to St. Cecilia," the program included the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra performing "Atmospheres" by Ligeti and "Concerto for Orchestra" by Lutoslawski.
Both ensembles gave a combined performance of Poulenc's "Gloria."

The following local students were named to the spring 2013 semester dean's list at Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pa.
Fogelsville: Gabrielle Gaugler, a senior majoring in English;
New Tripoli: Amy Vaughn, a senior majoring in archaeology; and
Schnecksville:Ashley Gimbel, a senior majoring in biology and Laurie Gimbel, a senior majoring in psychology.
A student makes the dean's list if they complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a minimum grade point average of 3.50 for the semester.
