Vince Morin, Emmaus High School graduate and now a freshman at Penn State Berks is awarded a check for $1,000 by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Lehigh Valley Chapter 190 March 25. Morin, a freshman, received the check because his grandfather, Chuck Jackson, was a Purple Heart recipient. Morin lives in Lower Macungie Township with his mother, sister and grandfather, Jackson.
