The menu includes a tossed salad, sliced marinated roast beef tenderloin, oven roasted rosemary chicken, parsley red roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, green beans almandine, fresh buttered corn and beverages.

Proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Following dinner will be 10 races, a hat contest and other events.

"Think spring" is the motto for Trinity United Church of Christ's flower sale. Those interested can purchase vouchers for one tray (12-four packs) of mix and match flowers and/or vegetables, or a hanging basket for $18. The vouchers are redeemable at Hickory Grove Greenhouse, North Catasauqua, throughout the month of May.

The church is located at Third and Coplay streets. For more information, call 610-262-8933.

Orange cones seem to be in vogue on Chestnut and Second streets.

The cones outside the David Victor Building are being used by borough public crews to mark off the area in order to repair a small sinkhole.

The second set of cones is found where a concrete pad was constructed for the new street light standards and traffic lights which came down when a truck hit the poles in January.

The last in a series of Clam Bake Fridays will be held tomorrow, Friday, March 22, at Coplay American Legion Post 426 on South Second Street.

The bakes, open to the public, are sponsored by the Coplay Lions Club, as a Lenten feature. While not as big as its Super Bowl Sunday breakfast, the response has been good.
