The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, will be baking paska, authentic Easter bread, for pick-up on Good Friday, March 29.
Bread will be available in 1- or 2-pound loaves, with or without raisins.

The NOVA kitchen has been full of activity so far this year.
In January, the bakers prepared more than 1,100 apple dumplings.
Cherry pie and soup sales took place in February, and the group is now working on shoofly pies.
The auxiliary donated $30,000 to the ambulance corps last year and has set the same goal for 2013.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have its traditional soup night 5-7 p.m. March 15.
A great variety of soups and chili cooked by church members will be available to taste and enjoy, all-you-can-eat.
Beverages and desserts will be provided.

On Souper Sunday in February, Union UCC collected 320 cans of soup, which were donated to the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.

The Copeechan Fish and Game Club will host a craft show 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 16.
The club expects a variety of vendors to participate. The kitchen will be open, and there will be a bake sale.

On March 24, Copeechan will stage its annual egg hunt at 2 p.m. for children up to age 9.

At a recent meeting, members of the Upper Lehigh Lioness Lions Club voted unanimously to merge with the Upper Lehigh Lions Club.
The Lioness Lions are looking forward to continuing service to the community through their new venture in the Lions Club.

Save the date – June 2 – for the second annual Schnecksville Fire Company Springfest Oldies Spectacular and Family Fun Day.
There will be open air seating as well as a tent and large wooden dance floor for enjoyment of The Duprees, The Rip Chords, Main Street Cruisers, a Johnny M. Elvis tribute, and more.
Host will be Mike Mittman.
Other features include a classic car display, beer garden, inflatable rides for the kids, and food from local organizations.
