Betty M. Reinert, 87, of Emmaus, formerly of Macungie, died February 23, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Raymond P.J. Reinert. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Esther M. (Gernerd) Moose.

She was a 1943 graduate of Allentown High School.

She retired from Spirax Sarco, Allentown after 21 years of dedicated service as an invoice clerk. Previously she was employed as a secretary at Breyer's Ice Cream Company, Allentown.

She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli and a charter member of the Macungie Women's Club.

She is survived by a son, Guy and his wife Diane, of Downingtown; daughters, Nancy and her husband Kermit Kressley, of New Tripoli; and Laurie and her husband Michael Stanton, of Macungie; sister, Pauline V. and her husband James Taylor, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Karla, Jeff, Shelly, Lauren, Matthew, Chelsey, Collin and Erin; great-grandchildren, Caden, Cole, Bryson and Hadley. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy E. Roth.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th & Hamilton Sts., Allentown. Call 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
