Victoria J. Levine, of New Tripoli and John L. Monaco, of Breinigsville, graduated alongside 504 Millersville University of Pennsylvania students during the fall 2012 undergraduate commencement ceremony Dec.16 in Millersville's Pucillo Gymnasium.
Levine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communication.
Monaco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social studies education.

Amir Abdulhay, son of Suzanne Abdulhay of Orefield, graduated with a major in biology from Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences.
His degree was awarded in December 2012.

He is the son of Kim and Rick Brannan of North Whitehall.

in honor society
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi has announced that Charles Dutko Jr., of Kutztown, was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
He is pursuing a degree at Pennsylvania State University.
Dutko Jr. is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.
Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors, having at least 72 semester hours, are eligible for membership.
Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
