Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Krumsville, is having a ham and string bean dinner, 4-7 p.m. on Sept. 29. Meal includes applesauce, bread, dessert and beverages. Take-out will be available.

Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society's Pioneer Day will take place from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

There will be children's activities, crafts, basket weaving and hay rides. Food includes french fries, ice cream, cakes, burgers, hot dogs and Pennsylvania German specialties.

Tour the Zeisloff Log Cabin Fort Everett and the newly restored bank barn.

New Bethel Church, Kempton, is having a Harvest Fest 2-8 p.m. Oct. 6

There will be delicious food from walking tacos to pierogies, bingo, games, a Chinese auction, cake walk, hay rides, pumpkin pie eating contest, DJ dance party. The Chaz Band will perform.

Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, is having its annual bazaar Oct. 13. The bazaar will feature a huge flea market, bake sale with homemade baked goods, soups, chow-chow, jams and more. There will be crafts created by Ebenezer's Handiworkers and quilted items made by the Ebenezer Quilters.

The book nook will feature hundreds of used books by favorite authors.

The silent auction will run 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and will have at least 75 items.

The Kitchen Café will be serving baked goods, soups, sandwiches and desserts.
