The Old Time Plow Boys are gearing up for their annual Summer show 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Aug. 11-12, at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown.

Pa. Dutch food and baked goods can be purchased at the Plow Boys kitchen starting at 10 a.m., along with crafters displays. Children's crafts and games will be available each day. An antique tractor and equipment parade will begin at 1 p.m. each day with various tractor pulls as well.

A Sunday church service will be held in the Barnyard at 9:30 p.m. Line dancing with the Crazy Hearts band will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday only.

A car cruise will begin 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

The Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society will hold its quarterly meeting and picnic at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department.

A pot luck supper will be served, so bring a covered dish and/or dessert, along with folding chairs. Following the meal and meeting, a tour of the fire equipment and facility will be available. Non-members are invited to attend as well.

The historical society research library at Werleys Corner is available 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 6.

Ziegels Church hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous program 7:30 p.m. every Monday.

The family day picnic will take place Aug. 12.

There will be an outdoor worship service at 11:05 a.m. with lunch following the service.

There will be games and entertainment for folks of all ages.

So bring your lawn chairs and come out to enjoy a day of fun, fellowship, and food.
