The Relay for Life of Schnecksville wrap-up will take place at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Schnecksville Fire Company.

Bring your thoughts on how to improve the relay and suggestions for a theme for the 2013 event.

Morgenland Union Church, Leather Corner Post, Orefield, will be having its second summer picnic 4-9 p.m. Aug. 11.

Music will be provided by the Country Rhythm band.

The final picnic of the year is 3-9 p.m. Sept. 8 with music provided by Midnight Special.

Pitches for Porter Lilley ball throws will take place 4-8 p.m. at both picnics.

All money raised from the pitches will be donated to Porter as he battles acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

There will be a donation jar at the site for those that do not wish to compete but would like to donate.

Sunday School will resume 10 a.m. Sept. 9.

Children will sing during the church services on the third Sunday of each month beginning in October.

Confirmation class begins 10:15 a.m. Sept. 9 in the social hall.

A parent must attend the first class with their child.
