The regular season is over, and it’s time to find out who’s built for November football. Bethlehem Catholic makes the biggest move, jumping to the top spot after putting Northampton in the mercy-rule blender last week. The Hawks look like they’re on a collision course with Blue Mountain for the Class 4A championship. Whitehall has a strong case for the top spot, as the Zephyrs are on a roll, but can they really make a run in 6A?

Undefeated Southern Lehigh keeps their spot in the top three, although the Spartans’ path through the Class 5A bracket looks about as friendly as it gets. Nazareth takes the biggest tumble, falling from the top spot after last week’s loss to Easton.

The opening round doesn’t feature many toss-ups, but there’s one matchup that has everyone’s attention and that’s Freedom and Easton Friday night at BASD Stadium. The Patriots already beat the Red Rovers 38-35 during the regular season, but completing the sweep won’t be easy against the defending district champions.
