LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Lion’s club holds annual barbecue chicken dinner fundraiser

If you were traveling on Route 309 anywhere near Walbert Avenue on Sept. 26, you may have been nearly overwhelmed by the aroma of chicken cooking on an open barbecue pit.

The Kuhnsville Lions Club were holding their annual fundraiser chicken barbecue dinner at the Jordan UCC pavilion.

A dinner included half a barbecued chicken, baked potato, apple sauce, rolls and butter.

Many customers will order ahead and those who purchase at the barbecue are asked if they would care to be placed on the call list for the following year.

The weather was once again rainy, which seems to be the norm for the Kuhnsville Lions Club’s annual chicken barbecue dinner fundraiser.
