Kudos to Catasauqua High School students who recently had the incredible opportunity to spend the day with some amazing community partners who opened their doors and helped students explore local career opportunities. A huge shout-out to Lehigh Valley Zoo, Sharp Medical Manufacturing, Northampton EMS, Lehigh County 911 Communications Center, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital and Bridge and Roots Counseling for sharing their time, expertise and passion.

Opportunities like this provide high school students with a firsthand look at potential career choices, and it’s a great way for CHS students to discover all the different paths open to them as they start thinking about their future.

All CHS seniors will have a cap and gown assembly and comp photo in the school auditorium 8-8:45 a.m. Oct. 15. Cap and gown ordering information and instructions through the school’s designated vendor will be distributed.

Catasauqua Area School District will have early dismissal Oct. 21. CHS students will be dismissed 12:50 p.m.

The first marking period will end Oct. 28.
