Vernon J. Guischard, 71, of Allentown, died Sept. 26, 2026.

Born on Nov. 23, 1954, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Paul and Theresa (Johnson) Guischard.

He celebrated 50 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Pamela, on June 5.

Hardworking and dedicated, he spent his career at Whitehall Cement Co. and Mack Trucks, before devoting over 20 years to Greene, Tweed & Co.

As a passionate outdoorsman and a member of the Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, he loved hunting and fishing.

He was a man of many talents who could build, fix, or grow anything.

Above all, he was always focused on ensuring that his family, dear friends, and neighbors were taken care of.

His unique sense of humor and faithful service to others are already sorely missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam; his children, Eugene and Laura; his sisters, Paula, Frances, and Theresa; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his sister, Celeste.

A visitation time was held Oct. 1, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown.
