Guy T. Schwartz, Jr., 90, of Orefield, died Sept. 21, 2026, at his residence.

He was the husband of the late Georgiann I. (Onufer) Schwartz.

Born in Siegersville, Jan. 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Guy T. Schwartz, Sr. and Bertha M. (Wagaman) Schwartz.

He served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He was employed in the cement industry for 54 years, retiring in 2020 from Hercules Cement in Stockertown, as a quarry superintendent.

He was a PIAA Official in baseball and basketball for many years.

He also served the Tri-Clover Fire Company as a volunteer firefighter and fire police.

He is survived by children, Jeffrey G. Schwartz (Catherine) of Germansville, Gregory A. Schwartz of Orefield, Guy T. Schwartz III (Cynthia) of Emerald, John G. Schwartz (Chrissi Kent) of Orefield, Kevin P. Schwartz (Jennifer) of Winfield, Kim D. Graver (Gregg) of Slatington; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sept. 28, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Reverend Karen A. Yonney officiating.

Interment followed the service at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
