Valeria M. Kardos, 90, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Oct. 2, 2026, at Walden III Senior Living Community in Wind Gap. She was the wife of the late Geza Kardos, who died in 2025. Born in Zalalöv, Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Geza and Magdelina (Toth) Konya.

She worked as a teacher in Hungary for 12 years and later as a seamstress in the Lehigh Valley for 10 years.

She was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Hungarian R.C. Church in Allentown.

She is survived by her son, Geza J., of Salisbury Township; beloved nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Laszlo Konya.

Services will be private at the family’s request.
