The Whitehall Active Volunteer Firefighters Association will again be hosting the Haunted Parkway hayrides this October. The parkway is located at 4689 S. Church St.

Hayrides will take place 7-11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in October, beginning Oct. 2. Tickets are available at the Whitehall Parkway on the day of the event, payable by cash only.

Parking is free, and there are refreshments available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit the Whitehall Fire Department.

The Whitehall High School football team will take on the Dieruff Huskies Oct. 2 at J. Birney Crum Stadium, 2027 Linden St., Allentown, with kickoff planned for 7 p.m. Come on out and support the team and enjoy some awesome football action.

Besides exercising your body and de-stressing your mind, you will be able to get a glimpse of the autumn leaves beginning to change colors. Enjoy nature and the beautiful canopy of colors under the trees lining the trail.
