of Alburtis
Steven R. Grace, 73, of Alburtis, died Sept. 13, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the loving husband of Cynthia J. (Bauer) Grace, with whom he was married 48 years. Proud to have been born in Roswell, N.M., he was a son of the late Theodore and Gwendolyn Grace.
After a 20-year career at former Tyler Pipe Co., he retired and started his own business as an artist. He showcased his wooden folk art in The New Street Folk Shoppe, which he established in Bethlehem in 1991 and continues on Etsy.
He was unabashedly silly and no stranger to a pun. He loved working outside, building magical, eclectic, and wild vegetable and flower gardens filled with hidden treasures.
He loved to paint, watch old movies, and most of all he loved his family fiercely and unconditionally.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughters, Stephanie G., wife of Gordon Johnson, of Alburtis, Caitlin E. and her husband, Joshua C. Griffith, of State College; brother, Michael, of Tucson, Ariz.; grandson, Maxwell Johnson. He was predeceased by his sister, Sherry Sturgeon.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorials can be considered in lieu of flowers to Minsi Trails Council, c/o Schmoyer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 190, Breinigsville, 18031.
