The coming months will bring continued programs for kids and gaming opportunities for young teens, as well as a history program or two.

The library will host a presentation about George Taylor, the Lehigh Valley’s own signer of the Declaration of Independence, 7 p.m. Sept. 30. Jason Kern will bring this important figure to life for audience members. The program will benefit the library, and tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the door.

The book club for adults is reading “Sworn To Silence” by Linda Castillo. This mystery is set in the world of the Amish and has already been made into a Lifetime movie. The club will meet to discuss the book 3 p.m. Oct. 7.

The Thursday reading and crafting for children program has moved back to 4 p.m. now that school is back in session. Come on out to make a mess in our library auditorium.

Our Gaming Club still runs on Saturdays to play Minecraft or Roblox solo or with friends. Also, our classic board games remain available.

Our lovely fiber arts group The Stitches continues to meet 5:30 p.m. every Monday.
