Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville, will be hosting a community blood drive in the Family Life Center 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Oct. 4.

The Sacred Voices community choral ensemble will present a concert at Union Lutheran Church at 4 p.m. on Sept. 27. The theme will be “Made in America: A Mosaic of Faith.”

A ticket donation will be received.

Union United Church of Christ, 5550 Route 873, Neffs, will host the annual basket social 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Oct. 3 and 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Oct. 4.

Organizers report there will be a large variety of baskets, a 50/50 drawing, a bake sale, and many opportunities to win.

Save the date for the craft fair and quilt show, which will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Oct. 10.

New crafters and artists are invited to participate.

The Schnecksville Fire Company, 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville, will host an all-you-can-eat buffet-style breakfast 8 a.m. to noon on Sept. 27.

The menu will include ham, sausage, bacon, creamed chipped beef, eggs any way you want them, omelets, home fries, toast and beverages.

Mimosas for ages 21 and older will be available at an additional cost. All proceeds benefit the volunteer firefighters.
