As the 2026 high school golf season nears the midway point, just two Colonial League teams remain unbeaten.

Northwestern Lehigh (5-0) and Southern Lehigh (6-0 Colonial League, 6-1 overall) have both maintained perfect records through Tuesday’s matches.

The two teams will meet next Tuesday, Sept. 2. The league title could be decided that day if the Tigers and Spartans can avoid any stumbles before then, or after as each team has a few league contests remaining after next week’s showdown.

The Tigers have a strong 1-2 punch with Skylar Kern and Cole Dynda at the top of their line up, but they’ve also been getting solid play and contributions from the rest of the line up and that has helped them cruise to five early wins.

Northwestern beat Jim Thorpe on Tuesday, 544-404. Kern shot a 4-over-par 76 to grab medalist honors at Jack Frost National Golf Club.

Dynda and Mason Malosh both shot 80 in the match, with Wagner Stracco (84) and Brayden Heckler (84) also helping the team score.

The Tigers hosted Bangor Monday and handed the Slaters a 402-411 setback at Olde Homestead behind another 76 from Kern to lead the way.

Dynda (79), Stracco (80), Malosh (81) and Caden Lentz (86) also contributed to the team score.

Northwestern beat Wilson 411-450 at Riverview Country Club last Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Dynda led the way against the Warriors, firing a 74 with Malosh (83), Kern (84), Stracco (84) and Jake Kozlowski (86) making up the rest of the team score.

In the second match of the season on Aug. 17, Northwestern made a statement with a 387-438 win over perennial league contender Moravian Academy.

Four Tigers broke 80 in the match at Olde Homestead. Dynda led the way with a 1-over par 73. Malosh and Kozlowski carded 77 each in the match, with Stracco (79) and Kern (81) filling the rest of the five-player team score.

Northwestern opened the season on Wednesday, Sept. 12 by pulling out a 391-392 win over Notre Dame at Green Pond Country Club.

Dynda fired and even-par 71 to lead the way in the match. Kern (73), Kozlowski (79), Malosh (82) and Stracco (86) were also part of the team scoring.

Northwestern has one more match this week and after that will play seven more through the end of the season, including six league contests.

The Tigers’ final league match is against Palmerton on Sept. 14. They take on Parkland in a nonleague match on Sept. 16.
