Petronella Johanna vanEgmond Bus
Petronella Johanna vanEgmond Bus, 95, formerly of New Tripoli, died peacefully in her sleep at her son’s home on Aug. 25, 2026. She spent the last eight years in the loving care of her son Alex and his wife Laurie at their home in Tennessee and was previously a longtime resident of New Tripoli. She was the wife of the late Jacobus P. Bus. They were married 55 years.
She was born in Badhoevedorp, The Netherlands to Cornelius Gerardus and Maria Theresa van Egmond.
In 1952 she and her husband emigrated to Canada. In 1962 they emigrated to Rochester N.Y.
She cofounded the family business, Aluminum Trim and Shapes which later became ATAS International. In 1984 the business and family relocated to the Lehigh Valley.
She enjoyed traveling, crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Maria Klueber (Larry), Dick (Peg), Gerard (Patty), Josie Levine (Steve), James (Cindy), Angela Fisher (Jim), Alex (Laurie), Lisa Klembara (Dave); 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 2008 and an infant son who died in 1958.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Sept. 5 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Sept. 4 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
