Well, it didn’t take long for a shake-up at the top of the poll with Freedom coming away with the most impressive Week 1 victory of any local team.

The Pates whipped Downingtown West last week and take advantage of Parkland’s loss at Phillipsburg to grab the number-one spot.

Both teams now square off on Friday night at BASD Stadium in what seems to be one of the very few marquee games in the conference this season.

Southern Lehigh keeps moving up and another Colonial League darling tiptoed their way into this week’s poll.
