Catasauqua Middle School sixth-graders are taking trips to Camp Fowler. The schedule includes Mrs. Polony’s homeroom Sept. 8, Mr. Luchansky’s homeroom Sept. 15 and Mrs. Morgan’s homeroom Sept. 22.

Mrs. Snyder’s homeroom was expected to visit Sept. 1.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education will next meet 7 p.m. Sept. 8 in the administration board room, 201 N. 14th St.

The book fair will run Sept. 14-18 at CMS.

The CMS parent-teacher forum will meet 6 p.m. Sept. 15 in the school media center.

Meet the teacher night is scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 17.

The mobile dentist will be visiting CMS Sept. 17.

Start With Hello Week will be Sept. 21-25. Students will explore ways to connect with each other and work toward maintaining an open and inviting environment for all.

Picture day for middle school students will be held Sept. 21.

There will be an early dismissal Sept. 23 for an extended faculty meeting. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Lunches will be served that day.

The middle of the first-quarter marking period is Sept. 25.
