Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board is holding its annual open house 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at the pavilion of the recreation center, 2491 Community Drive.
The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within Moore Township.

The township recreation commission will next meet 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the municipal building. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

The township historical commission next meets 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the municipal building. Learn about the rich history of Moore Township and raise awareness of the historical importance of the township.
There is a vacancy on the commission. Call the township office at 610-759-9449 for information or to apply for the open position.

The Moore Township Community Days committee thanks all who attended the annual Community Days event held Aug. 14 and 15. The event, held at the recreation center, was by all measures a success. The music was great, the food was excellent and the fun with family and friends was clearly evident.
The Community Days planners already look forward to the 2027 edition of the event.

Visit mooretownship.org to review ordinance 2026-01 adopted by the supervisors at the board meeting May 5. The ordinance regulates data centers in the township.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.
There will be prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, wash line bingo and a lot of fun.
