The summer concert series will continue with Steel Creek performing 7-10 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun night in the park.

Catasauqua Garden Club meets Sept. 2 at Jednota Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. The doors will open 12:30 p.m., and the meeting begins 1 p.m.

This is the month to get yourself an indoor green thumb. Club attendees will be learning about house plant propagation from Master Gardener Celeste Ball.

Garden-friendly visitors are welcome.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is hosting a mystery dinner theater, presented by Riddlebrood Touring Theatre Company. It will be held 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12.

The menu includes roasted chicken breast, roasted herb potatoes, salad, desserts and beverages.
