State Sen. Nick Miller, D-14th, will host a free community shredding event 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 12 at the East Allen Township Municipal Building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd.

The event provides residents with a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive personal documents such as old bank statements, tax records, medical documents and other paperwork containing personal information.

It is for paper documents only.

Looking ahead to October, Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association will be hosting a trip to Caesars in Atlantic City Oct. 18. Participants will leave 9:15 a.m. and will return by 9:15 p.m.
