Carol A. (Lichtenwalner) George, 81, of Kempton, died Aug. 3, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Stanley A. George, to whom she was married 62 years.

Born in Cetronia, Jan. 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Dorothy (Reichard) Lichtenwalner.

She will be forever remembered as an excellent cook and baker as she lovingly nurtured and sustained her husband, sons, and grandchildren.

During the winter months, she enjoyed spending extended time in Tampa, Fla. with friends.

In addition to her husband, Stanley, she is survived by sons, Todd D. George (Brenda) of Nazareth, Rodney L. George (Joan) of Kempton; grandchildren, Benjamin, Samantha, Elizabeth; one brother; one sister.

She was predeceased by four brothers.

Services took place Aug. 7, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. James D. Robison, Jr. officiating.

A private interment followed the service at St. Paul’s Cemetery Association in Kempton.
