The summer concert series will continue with the American Street Band performing 7-10 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding cash bingo Aug. 23. Bingo begins 1 p.m., and doors open noon.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightening game and more.

There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a donation of a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) for Whitehall Food Pantry and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials.

A back-to-school half-price sale will be held until Sept. 5 at Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St.

Stop in 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The shop is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, household items and toys. Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is hosting a mystery dinner theater night, presented by Riddlebrood Touring Theatre Company, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12.

The menu includes roasted chicken breast, roasted herb potatoes, salad, desserts and beverages.
