The kids summer reading program finale is set for noon Aug. 8. The event will feature FeRROUS, the IronPigs mascot, as well as Kona Ice, balloon animals, face paint and more.

The Sigal Museum will present “Local Tales of the Revolution” 6 p.m. Aug. 11. As part of our America at 250 series, learn how the Lehigh Valley played a role.

Fraud prevention with Neffs Bank will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 12.

This program is designed to help adults recognize and avoid common types of fraud. We will also have local law enforcement join us in the discussion.

Storytime yoga for tots, for ages 2-5, is set for 10 a.m. Aug. 17.

Creation Station with paper sculpting will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 19. Kids in grades 3-6 can enjoy STEAM projects once a month. This month, put your artistic skills to work with some paper craft.

The library’s indoor yard sale is scheduled for Aug. 21 and 22.

The items are regular price from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 21, $5 a bag 9 a.m. -noon Aug. 22 and free for remaining items 1-3 p.m.

The library has many clubs that meet monthly.

The adult book club meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.

The adult coloring club meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays.

A Good Yarn will meet 6 p.m. the third Tuesday for knitters, crocheters or other needle crafters.

The Teen Advisory Board meets 1:30 p.m. one Saturday a month for teens interested in volunteering at the library.
