Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association has announced fall baseball and softball registration is now open. The season runs Aug. 21-Oct. 31.

Baseball is open for T-Ball, Grasshoppers, Biddy, Midgets and Knee-Hi, ages 4.5 through 16. Softball is open for 8U through 19U.

Free swim times for adults are planned for 9:30-10:30 a.m. Aug. 1 at Parkview Pool, 3051 S. Fifth St.

Other pool events include a free swim night 7-9 p.m. July 31 and then a back-to-school party 5-7 p.m. Aug. 14 with New Dimension Sound LLC.

Whitehall Township will welcome Steel Creek Aug. 8 and Toolshed Jack Aug. 15 to Whitehall Parkway, 3219 S. Church St. Sponsored by the recreation department, concerts will be held 6-9 p.m., with food and drinks to enjoy.

Whitehall Historical Preservation Society will continue its open house days at the Helfrich Springs Grist Mill and Peter Grim House, set for 1-3 p.m. Aug. 16, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 13. The grist mill and house are located at 501 and 506 Mickley Road.
