The summer concert series will continue with Brake for Turtles 7-10 p.m. July 24 at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

The Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be holding bingo July 26. Cash bingo starts 1 p.m., with doors opening noon.

Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game, etc. There will be refreshments available for purchase.

Bring a donation of a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product such as facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper for the Whitehall Food Pantry and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials.

Reserving seats is not necessary, but if you want to reserve seats, call or text 610-533-1357.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will celebrate Christmas in July through July 31, with lots of items for Christmas.

The thrift shop volunteers are happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, as well as household items and toys.

The shop’s regular hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
