Terry Lee Leibenguth
Terry L. Leibenguth, 85, of Fellowship Community in Whitehall, died June 23, 2026.
He was the devoted husband of the late Madeline (Haney), with whom he shared 62 loving years of marriage before her passing in 2021.
Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Willard C. and Mary Elizabeth (Brubaker) Diehl.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed a variety of successful careers and business ventures.
For many years, he worked as a tour bus driver for Holiday Travel, a position that allowed him to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
In the 1980s, he owned and operated a deli, snack stand, and candy store at the New Allentown Farmers Market.
His greatest professional achievement was co-owning Country Cleaners with his wife, Madeline.
Together, they built the business into a successful enterprise with six locations throughout the Lehigh Valley before retiring in 2003.
Following retirement, he and Madeline relocated to Florida, where he enjoyed working at Disney World.
In 2017, they returned to Pennsylvania to be closer to their family.
He found great joy in golfing, taking long walks, and reading.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, kind heart, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Stengel and her husband, Jack, of Allentown, and Tracy Schmidt and her husband, Joseph, of Coplay; son-in-law, Richard Molchany, of Walnutport; sisters, Sally Norsen and her husband, Gary, of New York; Anita Billig and her husband, Don, of Florida; and Darla Farley, of Georgia; brother-in-law, Larry Longenbach, of Kutztown; grandchildren, Ashley Hobel and her husband, Carl, Kyle Stengel, Karlie Minnier and her husband, Donald, Mathew Schmidt, Jake Stengel, and Megan Schmidt; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife, Madeline, he was predeceased by his daughter, Lori Molchany (2019); grandson, Ryan Molchany (2003); and sister, Sandra Longenbach (2021).
Services will be held 11 a.m. July 18, 2026, in The Zentz Center of Fellowship Community, 3000 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, officiated by Rev. Jacob J. Susek, Jr. and Rev. Philip E. Yerrington.
His family will receive guests beginning at 10 a.m.
A time of refreshment and fellowship will follow his service.
Inurnment of him and Madeline in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum will be private.
