Lehigh Township Historical Society will hold gravestone preservation workshops from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. July 12 and 10 a.m.-noon July 25 at the Berlinsville Cemetery. This is a hands-on, basic gravestone cleaning demonstration.

Information on protocols will be explained, along with recommended tools and techniques. Materials will be provided.

A rain date will be announced if postponed due to weather.

LTHS will be having an open house 1-4 p.m. July 19 at the Historical Centre Museum, 3811 Lehigh Drive, Pennsville.

Come out and see the many items that the historical society has collected during the past 25 years.

LTHS will be holding a barbecue-to-go event noon-3 p.m. Aug. 9 catered by Country View Meats. Pickup is at the Historical Centre, 3811 Lehigh Drive.

Choose from either half a roast chicken or pulled pork with barbecue sauce, baked potato and roll with butter. Choose two sides from the options of applesauce, baked beans or creamed cabbage. The meal includes a piece of homemade cake.
